Cartoon slice of bread with a smiling face and pink speckled crust

Toasty Club

Toasty Club is a concept café in Toronto, serving quick, healthy toast-based bites for busy city dwellers. The idea was inspired by the growing demand for a convenient yet wholesome food option. I envisioned a brand that would not only offer delicious toasts but also bring a splash of fun and brightness to the bustling streets of Toronto. The brand name, "Toasty Club," is a deliberate play on words, combining "Tasty" and "Toasts.”

ROLE

Branding and illustration

TOOLS

Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Two circular logos for "Toasty Club," featuring a smiling slice of bread, one in color with a blue background and pink text, and one in black and white.

🎨 Colours

I aimed to create a brand that felt bold, fun, and modern. My inspiration came from the vibrant cityscapes of Toronto (in the summer) and playful design trends. I chose a color palette of bold blue, pink, ivory, and black.

🔤 Logo design

I began by sketching ideas in Procreate, exploring playful shapes and quirky toast characters. I continued to refined them in Adobe Illustrator, ensuring crisp lines and incorporating vibrant colours. The final assets were created using Illustrator to create visuals for packaging, social media, and in-store graphics.
